Poly Labs TTHS-2 Headset Ear Cushions
The TriPort Tactical Headset Series 2 (TTHS-2) Ear Cushions offer full-spectrum noise reduction, clear audio, and a comfortable design that fits under a range of ballistic helmets. The part we manufacture for this headset is the dual-seal ear cushion, made in the USA at Poly Labs world-class Lewiston, ME polyurethane production facility.
Leveraging our longstanding and continuous partnership with BOSE, we are now actively engaging with past and current customers to introduce them to Poly Labs as the manufacturer of these components for streamlined ear cushion spare part sales. In addition, we’re in development of other PU foam components for defense applications.

Engineering & Development for the Next Generation of Military Ear Cushions
Originally developed by Poly Labs and manufactured exclusively for BOSE, we acquired an IP license and gained the production rights to the ear cushions integrated into the TTHS-2 tactical headset.
Now, Poly Labs is working with BOSE’s past and current customers to provide replacement ear cushions, field replaceable spare parts, and other sound attenuation foam assemblies. In addition, we are developing and engineering new ear cushion technologies to introduce to military headset OEMs and helmet producers to integrate PU materials into the next generation of military designs.
Military studies show that reducing noise improves mission effectiveness. During mounted combat operations, the ability to communicate intelligibly within them becomes more and more important.
