Poly Labs Featured in Client Spotlight
Launched in November of 2020 in Lewiston, Maine, Poly Labs is a completely US-based producer of polyurethane (PU), TPU, TPE, and TPR components. This wide and flexible range of products are commonly used in applications from defense, medical, footwear, and impact protection applications. Though relatively new on the scene as an individual brand, Poly Labs has an established foothold in Maine dating back over 150 years; the business was formerly Jones and Vining’s industrial division before the 2020 spin-off.
Domestic Manufacturing Focus
Focusing on domestic manufacturing and working with everyone from industry-leading footwear brands to global audio equipment companies and even start-ups, Poly Labs’ flexibility is clear. “[We partner] with several organizations that look to improve and bolster domestic manufacturing and the manufacturing workforce here in the United States,” said Poly Labs’ head of Business Development, Dan Keeley. Developing a strong Quality Management System and achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification was a key goal, according to Keeley.
“[Certification] allows us to support the needs of current customers while expanding our reach into other markets.”
Certification and Future
With the assurance of certification and their own achievements backing them, the future is looking bright for Poly Labs. Their aims for the future are to continue growing and expanding the message of how important buying 100% U.S.-based polyurethane and polymer products is, especially in cooperation with their partners. As their philosophy of “Teamwork first and foremost” implies, all parts of the US manufacturing landscape are in it together.
The team at Poly Labs wants to extend gratitude to PJR for the feature. Earlier this year, Poly Labs completed ISO 9001:2015 certification. To read more about our ISO certification, click here.
